Medium priced (for Vienna standard) wines, quite enjoyable traditional Austrian food. To my mind, this is...As other reviewers note this is not a restaurant geared to the tourist trade. It is close to Naschmarkt, but still retains a charmy, remote feeling.

Totally worth a visitThe menu is in German but younger members of staff speak some English. Loved the food especially everything with shlagge.The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. Here the Tafelspitz comes with dill, the Wienerschnitzel is just the right...It's a typical Viennese restaurant, and, thank God, there are still quite a few around. So we said no worries and we cleaned it up with the kitchen towel...I’m not sure a review is a good idea - I wouldn’t want Ubl to be packed out with hordes of tourists!

We visited after the Third Man Museum which is directly opposite, killing two excellent birds with one stone. Two of our three meals were well prepared, the other at least ok (burnt lamb sausages, though).
